Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Your Guest Hub. By creating an account or using an event app, you agree to them.
1. The service
Your Guest Hub is an event companion app operated by Theolume Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). It gives attendees an agenda, a people directory and a private notebook, and gives organizers tools to manage their event. Each event is run by its organizer, who is responsible for the event itself and for the content they publish in it.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into this agreement.
- An organizer may limit an event to invited guests and may remove a person from their event.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Acceptable use
When using Your Guest Hub, you agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- post content that is false, misleading, harassing, hateful or obscene, or impersonate another person;
- collect or copy other attendees’ information in bulk, or use the directory to send unsolicited marketing;
- upload malware, probe or bypass security, or interfere with the service or other people’s use of it;
- access the service by automated means without our written permission.
The people directory exists to help attendees connect in good faith. Contact details and profiles you see there may be used only for that purpose.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add: your profile, photo and notes. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service — for example, showing your profile to other attendees of the same event. You confirm you have the right to share anything you upload. Your notes remain private to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Organizers
If you manage an event on Your Guest Hub, you also agree that:
- you have the right to add the people, logos, photos and other material you publish, and to invite the guests you add;
- you will handle attendee information lawfully, tell your attendees how you use it, and use it only for your event;
- you are responsible for sponsor messages and links you display, and for their accuracy and legality;
- fees, billing terms, cancellation rights, and refunds are governed by the Pricing page, the checkout disclosures, and the Refund and Cancellation Policy in these Terms.
6. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Automatic renewal of annual plans. Annual plans are charged when you buy them and then renew automatically every 12 months at the annual price shown at checkout, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your console (Manage billing) or by emailing hello@theolumetechnologies.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period. Per-event plans and the setup service are one-time payments and do not renew.
6.1 Per-event plans. You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase, provided the event has not been published, made accessible to attendees, or substantially used. Once the event is activated or the platform has been substantially used, payments are generally non-refundable, except as otherwise stated in this policy or required by applicable law.
6.2 Annual plans. You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your initial annual purchase, provided no event has been activated and the platform has not been substantially used. After this period, annual plan fees are generally non-refundable. You may cancel future renewals at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid subscription period.
6.3 Done-for-you setup services. The optional setup service may be canceled for a full refund before our team begins work. Once work begins, refunds may be reduced to reflect services already performed. Completed setup services are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we fail to deliver the agreed services.
6.4 Event cancellations. Cancellation, postponement, or changes to an event by the customer do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of platform fees. You may contact us to discuss available options.
6.5 Technical issues and service failures. If a verified technical issue attributable to Your Guest Hub materially prevents you from using the purchased service and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable period, you may be eligible for an appropriate refund or service credit.
6.6 Duplicate or incorrect charges. Verified duplicate charges or billing errors will be corrected, and any excess payment will be refunded.
6.7 Requesting a refund. Refund requests must be submitted to hello@theolumetechnologies.com and include the purchase date, event or account name, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
6.8 Applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Sponsors and third-party links
Events may show sponsor content and links to other websites. We do not control those sites or endorse their products, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Our intellectual property
The Your Guest Hub software, design and name belong to Theolume Technologies LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Your Guest Hub available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or discontinue features, and event apps may be taken offline by their organizers.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Your Guest Hub at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if needed to protect the service or other users.
11. Disclaimers
Your Guest Hub is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event information, profiles or sponsor content supplied by organizers and other users.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Theolume Technologies LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. If you keep using Your Guest Hub after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
